"Beautiful delicate pasta, fabulous wine. Must try while you are here. Drawn in by old school handwritten menus, mentioning a wait for meals, as good food takes time. We loved the eccentricity of the place, and couldn’t have wished for a better last meal in beautiful Ortigia. Try the prawn ravioli- sublime & the Mt Etna red wine as a special treat to yourself."

"We had a wonderful experience at La Vineria Café! The ambience was cozy and beautiful. Francesca and Titi provided great, friendly service. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The highlight of their menu is their wide selection of homemade pasta. They also have many wines to choose from. Francesca made a wonderful suggestion of a local Chardonnay which was very nice. Highly recommend for a casual dinner!"

"La Vineria Cafe Restaurant had delicious food, especially the fresh fish, which was cooked perfectly. The drinks were also very good and went well with our meal. The best part was our waitress, who was very friendly and funny, making us feel very welcome and the good music. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food and service."

"Wonderful food in what feels like a very authentic setting. It's a bit chaotic which adds to the charm. Hostess was charming, music got better and the food suggestions were very good. Cash only though which is v. inconvenient... apparently the card machine is broken"
